S. Walter “Scott” Foulkrod IV, Esquire
Corporate Faculty

Scott Foulkrod teaches philosophy and literature courses, and co-teaches a freshman course focusing on identity and community. He is a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School near Harrisburg, the University of Richmond with a BA in both English and French, and Widener University School of Law's Harrisburg campus.  He has practiced law in the Harrisburg area since 1992 as a trial attorney.  He has served on the board of and as president of the Harrisburg Young Professionals, and remains involved in that non-profit organization's efforts to continue to improve Harrisburg's quality of life for younger adults. In 2004 he co-founded and served as the initial chair of the Pennsylvania Young Professionals in an effort to stem the state's brain drain of young talent which has left it with the second oldest population in the nation.  Scott encourages HU students to become involved in their community in order to educate themselves and effect positive change.
