Biographies

Michael Bialousz,
Corporate Faculty

Mr. Bialousz teaches the Introduction to Geographic Information Systems class for Harrisburg University and has been employed as the GIS Coordinator for the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) since 2005. He also has 11 additional years of various public and private sector GIS experience, including the management and completion of various GIS projects throughout the eastern United States. At the PFBC, he is responsible for GIS database design and administration, integration of GIS with various IT systems, web GIS application development, GIS training, and numerous program area projects and support. Mr. Bialousz has 7 years of experience serving in the capacity of an ESRI Authorized Instructor for ArcGIS and has trained numerous private and public sector employees. Mr. Bialousz earned a Master of Science degree in Geoenvironmental Studies from Shippensburg University in 1996. He also has undergraduate degrees in Forest Technology from SUNY-College of Environmental Science and Forestry and Geography from SUNY Plattsburgh.
