Goals for Student Success

Harrisburg University of Science and Technology is committed to providing high school students from a variety of backgrounds who are motivated to learn through access to college courses. Our College in High School Program has several important objectives:

  1. Access to university level instruction with college credit for students who can handle advanced material not offered in the local high school. Build up your competitiveness for college admissions.
  2. Access to university courses with faculty who have been chosen to specifically help in transition from high school to college and can serve as career as well as academic advisors.
  3. Demonstration of your academic potential by successfully completing one or more university level courses.
  4. Access to degree which provide high potential jobs and family sustaining salaries.
  5. College in High School provides the opportunity for high school students to explore several areas of interest before declaring a major and join the ever-growing number of high school students across the nation in early college programs.
  6. Build your resume of accomplishments and demonstrate your potential.
