At Harrisburg University, we provide an applied science and technology education dedicated to your career coupled with comprehensive financial resources to make it affordable. We also promise to make the admission and financial aid processes as easy as possible and that you receive guidance in a timely manner.
FACT: Our tuition puts us amongst the lowest priced private institutions in the state.
FACT: There are no hidden fees, such as a parking fee, technology fee, health fee, recreation fee, etc., that can add up to thousands of additional dollars.
FACT: Last year’s average out-of-pocket expense for a family was only $3,600. Most families used student loans--which you pay after graduation--to cover this amount.
FACT: We “stack” scholarships, awards, and grants at HU so you can receive more than one.
Getting financial aid at HU is an easy three-step process:
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). [HU School Code: 039483]
- Complete online Loan Entrance Counseling if you plan to request a loan.
(Select the option, "Federal Student Loan Entrance Counseling.") - Apply for loans if necessary.
- Federal Stafford Loan
- Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS)
- Graduate PLUS Loan (graduate students only)
- Alternative education loans
