The SciTech Center for Innovation
The Harrisburg University of Science and Technology’s SciTech Center for Innovation provides dedicated space and support services for startup high-tech companies, addressing the region's economic development needs.
The Center offers a nurturing environment for faculty, students and other entrepreneurs to incubate commercially viable ideas into products or services with the support of other faculty, students, entrepreneurs and angel investors. Center tenants have the opportunity to tap the intellectual talent of faculty and the vitality of the students as well as to contribute to the educational process through presentations, internships and regular interaction with the students.
The Center is located in a Keystone Opportunity Zone (KOZ) which offers tax benefits to companies. The Center focuses on start-up technology companies at various stages of development with a balance between very early stage startups and those with defined or proven markets.
