The Brezler family and friends would like to extend an invitation for you to register for the 11th annual Mark Brezler Memorial Golf Classic. In eleven years the tournament has donated nearly $50,000 towards academic scholarships at Harrisburg University as well as drug prevention and youth programs in the community.
This year’s tournament is scheduled for Friday, July 30, at the Sportsman’s Golf Course in Harrisburg. Registration will start at 12:00pm and close at 1:00pm. The tournament will feature a shotgun start and play begins immediately following registration. The format is a four-person scramble and we will have two flights: a championship flight and a novice flight. There will be lunch at registration, beverages on the course, and a catered dinner will follow the tournament.
In the twelve years since my brother passed away from a heroin overdose we have been fortunate to financially help several different organizations. The proceeds from this year’s tournament will be donated to two organizations. We will continue to be the sole source of income for the Mark Brezler Memorial Scholarship fund at Harrisburg University and a portion of the proceeds will go to the youth soccer league supported by Harrisburg Parks.
