Harrisburg University of Science and Technology has been, from the very beginning, an endeavor of, by and for the citizens of the Commonwealth—a university born of the community. Forward-thinking people in government, industry, and education joined forces to make this idea happen.
The continued growth of the University requires many partners working hand-in-hand with our faculty, students and staff. We could not provide the high-quality STEM education without the philanthropic investments, internships, mentoring and other collaborative efforts from our public and private sector partners. These partners understand that investing in Harrisburg University not only enables our students to thrive in highly sought after STEM careers, but also positions our region—and our nation—to be a competitive force in the global economy.
Public and private gifts are designated to support CONNECT: The Campaign for Harrisburg University—the University’s inaugural comprehensive fundraising campaign that was publicly launched at the Groundbreaking Gala Celebration in November 2006.
The current total of commitments to the CONNECT Campaign is approximately $37.9-million toward the goal of $40 million. Public and private support of this magnitude is what will make the University’s campaign a success, as well as ensure the continued fast-paced rise of Harrisburg University as a prominent institution of higher education in the Commonwealth.
