HACC to HU Transfer Maps
To help you with your decision to complete your undergraduate degree, we want to make your search for the right program to transfer into a bit easier. That’s why the program-to-program transfer maps are being created. These maps have also been shared with the transfer counselors at HACC.
Here's how each map is laid out:
- The HU degree name and HACC degree name to which it maps are listed near the top of the attached sheet.
- All of the HU degree requirements are listed along the left side of the page.
- All of the HACC degree requirements for your program are listed along the right side of the page.
- The HACC courses (along the right side of the page) that are highlighted in blue are the ones we recommend you take (if you can) in order to maximize the number of credits you can transfer into the HU program. This is meant to be a guide for you as you plan your schedule now and into the future. Please note that courses presented for transfer to the University must be completed with the final grade of "C" or higher (not "C-").
This does not mean that only the courses highlighted in blue are transferable to HU! These are just recommendations to allow you to maximize a match between your program and the HU program. Transfer evaluations will also continue to be done on an individual basis. - If you choose, and can, follow the recommended scheduling map, then the Harrisburg University courses highlighted in yellow (along the left side of the sheet) are the ones you will still need to take after you transfer.
- If you choose, and can, follow the recommended course choices, then the "transfer evaluation summary" at the end of the program to program transfer map will be true. Again, this can vary depending on the actual courses you take at HACC.
